Prediction Market

What is Prediction Market?
Prediction markets let you put money on the outcome of real-world events β sports, politics, breaking news, and more.
Each outcome has a price between 0 and 1 that reflects how likely the market thinks it is. Buy an outcome, and if you're right, it pays out at 1. If you're wrong, it settles at 0.
You don't have to wait until the end β you can sell your position at any time while the market is open.
Getting Started
Step 1: Add Funds
Your prediction balance is separate from your main wallet. To top it up:
Go to [Trade] β [Prediction] in the app
Tap [Add Funds]

Transfer from your wallet β it usually takes a few minutes to arrive

Once the transfer is complete, your balance will show up as Available Cash, ready to use.
π‘ Good to know: Your wallet balance won't go up while you have open positions. Funds come back to Available Cash only after you sell or claim a position.
Step 2: Find an Event
Take the Sports section as an example. Head to the Sports tab, where you can:
Search by event name
Browse Trending events sorted by trading volume

Filter by League β NBA, NFL, Premier League, Esports, and others

Step 3: Pick Your Outcome
Tap any event to open its page. You'll see the competing teams, current win probabilities, and the markets available to trade.
The three main market types:
| Market | What You're Predicting |
|---|---|
| Moneyline | Who wins the match |
| Spread | Who wins, with a points handicap applied |
| Totals | Whether total points/goals go over or under a set number |
Some matches also offer fun prop markets like "Will the game go to overtime?" or "Will it be a clean sheet?"
New to spreads? Here's a quick example: TOT -1.5 means Tottenham must win by 2 or more goals for your position to pay out. The handicap levels the playing field between mismatched teams.

Step 4: Place Your Prediction
Enter the amount you want to use and confirm. That's it β your position is now live.
When the event ends:
- β Correct outcome β settles at 1 (full payout)
- β Wrong outcome β settles at 0
Example: You buy Yes at 0.62. Yes wins. Your position settles at 1 and you receive the full payout regardless of what you paid.

Step 5: Manage Your Positions
Go to the Positions page at any time to:
- Sell β exit early and lock in gains (or cut losses) before the event ends
- Claim β collect your payout after the event settles
- Redeem β move your settled funds back to Available Cash
Step 6: Share Your Picks
Feeling confident? Generate a shareable card for any position and post it directly to social media.

Quick FAQ
What's the difference between Position Value and Available Cash?
- Position Value β the current market value of all your active predictions. This number moves in real time as market prices change.
- Available Cash β the funds you have free to place new trades. This only increases when you sell or claim a position.
Think of it this way: Available Cash is what's in your pocket, Position Value is what your open bets are currently worth.
Why does the price equal the probability?
Because a correct prediction pays out exactly 1. If traders think something has a 70% chance of happening, they'll naturally price it at 0.70. The price is the probability.
Can I sell before the event ends?
Yes β any open market can be exited early. Useful if the price has moved in your favor and you want to lock in a profit.
Why hasn't my wallet balance changed?
Open positions are held separately and don't show in your main wallet until you sell or claim them.
How do Win/Draw/Loss markets work?
Only one outcome pays out at 1. The other two settle at 0. So if you pick Draw and the home team wins, your position is worth nothing.
How do three-outcome markets settle?
For markets like Win/Draw/Loss:
- Only one outcome settles at 1
- All others settle at 0
Is the settlement transparent?
Each market has:
- Clear resolution rules
- Verifiable result sources
- Automated settlement processes
